BB_O Top covers are ready

Ok after much anticipation I finally have the revised Fin top cover ready to go prime time. First of all I want to thank Fin for his generosity, help, advice, and well just a good gear BS session last week

So with out further wait here is the video of the new BB-0

And the Details

Based directly off of Fin's design we are using uncoated 1.1 oz ripstop nylon for breathability. This allows the cover to function without a condensation vent. This offers a simple no fuss design that once you set it on the hammock there is no adjustments to make. And I can speak to the fact that even though the fabric is very breathable it still traps a tremendous amount of heat over the bug net alone. The major modification over Fin's design is three fold, first, I have set a fixed tension on the cover - no cord locks to fiddle with and the cover is snugged right to the body of the hammock with no user adjustment. Second, in place of the adjustment cord-locks I have added 3" pull tabs to the corners that hook over the whipping bundle. These pull tabs are easy to grab with gloves on and are easy to find in the dark when setting up in less than ideal conditions. Lastly I have changed the velcro wing tie out closure to No Snag velcro to help prevent damage to the No See-um netting from the hook side.

So Initially I will be offering these in the MARPAT Camo and if there is enough intrest in SharkSkin Grey as well. They will come with a black DWR stuff sack that is included in the weight of 5.4 oz (stuff sack weighs 1/4th oz on its own for those that care)

Price is $75.00 plus shipping (should be $5.00 any were in the us)
And turn around after order will be about a week as I am waiting on my fabric to all get in stock. I will try to get them out as fast as possible.

PayPal is preferred

Thanks
Paul

What do you want us to carry?

So I am waiting for my full website to get up and running but while I am waiting I wanted to share a bit about what we will be offering. And ask what everyone would like to see us carrying in the next couple of months. I am currently offering my hammock pillows, Hex and Rectangle tarps, Closed Cell Foam pads, Fire Steels with hardwood stained handles, a mini "Chair" hammock, Synthetic and Down under quilts, Top quilts, Metal Hammock HeadBoards, Various Cordage for guy-lines, Full Strength Rated Mini Carabiners. And a few other things that may be a bit further out.

So my question is what do you want to see available? What can't you find else where? What do you need for your next hike? What can we make, build or design for you?

Hammock Pillows

Here they are! Just what you need to make your hammock so much more comfortable you won't believe the difference. Our pillows are made with Climashield insulation, it is very compressible, warm and light weight. We offer them in two choices for fabrics, either 1.1 oz to the yard ripstop nylon(Black, Green, Silver) or 1.9 oz per yard ripstop nylon(Brown, Orange, Silver, Spruce Green, Yellow). I am currently offering 2 sizes that are available in either fabric--The "Snoring Cub" or the "Snoring Bear." The Cub is 5"X9" with 3" of loft and weighs in the included stuff sack 3 ounces. The Bear is doubled in the volume of insulation used it measures 8"X12" with 5" of loft and with the included stuff sack weighs 5 ounces. Both pillows include a 24" shock cord/clip suspension line that clipped to a ridge line in a hammock will tether the pillow in place at the head end of the hammock and keep it from sliding down should the user move around during the night. They work great for ground sleepers (tent users) as well as hammock campers (of course you will be more comfortable in a hammock but that is another story for another day.)

Snoring Cubs are available for $20.00 each
Snoring Bears are available for $40.00 each

Shipping in the U.S. is $5.00 for individual items and $2.50 for an additional item, and all orders ship within 2 business days (often same or next day)

To Order send me an email at ahe.orders@gmail.com

Here is a Quick video that demonstrates both pillows in action.
